Beginning July 1, 2020, the Greek government has determined how the country will welcome travelers, carry out the necessary diagnostic screening and keep everyone safe throughout the season. The Passenger Locator Form (PLF) is a key element in the planning. All travelers must complete their PLF until the day before entering the country and leaving the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of their stay while in Greece. In case of multiple stays, they are required to provide the address for the first 24 hours at least. One PLF should be submitted per family.
Good Habits to Continue During
(and After) the Pandemic
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses have had to incorporate many health and safety protocols that were different from before. This included changing business operations and safety protocols in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep the premises safe.
While these best practices have become habits now, they may fall out of practice as time goes on. Here is a breakdown of the habits businesses developed during the pandemic that should never be broken:
Washing Hands Properly
Thorough and frequent hand washing is one of the most important things everyone can do to ensure their own safety. This is more important now than ever, especially since hand washing is one of the key ways to help prevent the spread of the Covid-19.
Using Hand Sanitiser
The demand and use of hand sanitizer has grown immensely in Greece. Hotels are supplying hand sanitizer to guests as well as staff members to help kill pathogens and stop the spread and transmission of Covid-19.
The habit of Being Adaptive
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the travel industry greatly and hotels are having to adapt in order to survive these times. Being adaptive and ‘ready for anything’ is a habit that must continue on for the time being.
Wearing Facial Masks
The use of a protective face mask is one of the most important things everyone can do to ensure their own safety and also preventing the spread and transmission of Covid-19.
Beginning April 12, 2021, Citizens participating in tackling the pandemic is crucial, and testing at home once a week helps significantly to stop the spread of the virus. Through the process of self-control with a home test for rapid antigen detection, Greek citizens protect both their health and their loved ones.
The purpose of this procedure is to Protect Public Health by detecting asymptomatic carriers of the SARS – CoV -2 virus easily, quickly, and reliably. If you have taken a home test and tested positive for the new coronavirus, you can have a new test to confirm the former. This can be done anywhere you wish privately or publicly within the next 24 hours.
